A student of the department of crop, soil and pest management, Amanda Udemba lost her life, yesterday after battling with an illness since childhood.
According to the class representative of the deceased, she had been suffering from a kidney problem since childhood before giving up the ghost yesterday.
"Though, it was a kidney problem which had been affecting her since 5 years of age. She was flown out of FUTA during our 100/200 level days for treatment.", he had said.
The final year student, who missed her seminar last week traveled home about three weeks ago.
"We thought all was okay until like two to three weeks ago, when she had to travel home again.", the class rep had said.
Amanda also happened to be the assistant class representative of her department before her demise.
